Dhá leabhair.

Home again!  My bed is the best bed.  Also my brother's girlfriend visited while I was away, and left me

which was a pretty nice surprise.  Apparently she had a favourite one, so it'd be nice to make that as a thank you, but my mum and sister can't remember which one it was.

In other book news, one of the best books I scavenged while away was The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.  It tells the story of the woman behind HeLa cells, her family history and her surviving relatives, how the cells were cultured and how they've been used, some of the debates and court cases that have involved consent and research, and it's just great.  If you're interested in molecular biology or ethics or friendship or people or bodily autonomy I recommend it.
